Frequently Asked Questions
Can I withdraw the rewards to a bank account, or only in crypto?
Rewards are paid out in cryptocurrencies, but they can also be paid in fiat currency or via bank transfer.
If I install Unity, will it affect my regular calls, text messages, or data?
Unity does not have access to your personal data and does not request access to it. The app is GDPR-compliant.
No — Unity does not interfere with your calls, SMS messages, or data. Your phone will work just as before.
What personal data does Unity have access to?

How can I check if my license is working correctly?
Does the Unity app update automatically?
Do the rewards decrease over time?
What exactly does Unity do – does it replace my mobile operator?
No – Unity does not replace your mobile operator. It runs on top of existing networks to verify, test, and improve the global telecommunications infrastructure while rewarding participants.
No — there are no direct penalties for devices that disconnect, but while the device is offline, no additional tasks are generated, so there is a lower chance to earn rewards.
No — the rewards do not depend on your operator or mobile plan.
No — the rewards do not decrease over time; as the network and the number of users grow, the rewards only increase.
Rewards are calculated based on the services you provide and their value, with a clear breakdown visible inside the Unity app.
The app will notify you if an update is required.
In the app you will see a green “active” indicator, and all statuses must be set to “Active”.
Yes — it also works on older or used devices.
What happens if my phone is without an internet connection for several hours or days?
If your phone is switched off or you don’t have internet access (Wi-Fi or mobile data), the app will not generate rewards during that time. Once you reconnect to the internet and start the Unity app again, you will continue generating rewards.
What is the minimum amount for withdrawing rewards?
There is no minimum payout amount.
In which countries does Unity operate?
Unity is compatible and works in all countries except where VoIP services are restricted or where international sanctions apply. Examples include the United Arab Emirates, Oman, and China, where VoIP access is limited only to state-owned operators. Unity also cannot operate in fully sanctioned or embargoed regions such as, among others, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia, Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Afghanistan, Belarus, Cuba, Myanmar, Sudan, South Sudan, Venezuela, Yemen, and Zimbabwe.
Yes — no names, addresses, phone numbers, or other personal data are collected.
What information does Unity collect from operators?
Unity does not collect personal or identifying data. Only technical information is recorded to verify network activity and issue rewards (e.g. quality measurements, anonymized statistics).
If my phone is connected to Wi-Fi but has no mobile signal, does Unity still work?
Yes — it also works if you are only on Wi-Fi. The app shows a connection indicator so you can check whether the license is online.
Does Unity use minutes or data from my mobile plan?
Unity only uses data from your mobile plan, not minutes/SMS. If you’re on Wi-Fi, it doesn’t use any mobile data.
Do I need a separate phone to use Unity?
No — you can use your existing phone. If you prefer, you can use a separate phone, but that’s entirely your choice.
The app is not resource-intensive. It doesn’t require much CPU or memory. It’s designed to run on all Android and iOS smartphones.
Getting started is easy — installation and setup take less than a minute.
It can be prepaid or postpaid — both are acceptable.
No — Unity is independent of the operator and is compatible with all operators and mobile plans. It also supports Wi-Fi.
Do I need a specific SIM card, operator, or plan?
What are the minimum requirements for the app to run?
How difficult is it to set up and use the Unity app?
Do I need a prepaid SIM or a postpaid SIM?
What happens if I choose the free option?
runnode.io, which owns the licenses, will cover the monthly fee on your behalf. Your rewards will be correspondingly lower.
We will never ask you for your banking details. If you choose the free option, you never pay anything – you only receive money. If you choose the $1.99 monthly fee, your rewards will be higher, and you’ll pay the monthly fee in a safe and standard way inside the app.
Do I need to provide my bank details?
Do I need to provide my crypto wallet?
We will never ask you for any crypto wallet details, passwords, or personal data. We only store your e-mail address for the purpose of sending you the license key you need to manage your license. We will also never share your e-mail with any third party.
Yes – this can happen if your uptime is too low (your phone often has no internet access – no Wi-Fi connection or mobile data turned off). If your uptime is above 60%, your license will not be taken away.
What happens if I pay $1.99, but then my phone is unreachable and I lose my license?
When you pay $1.99 for the inter-operator network registration fee, you receive “credits” – a number of days during which you can continue to use a license. You then need to obtain a new license – either by sending a new request via the form above or by acquiring it on the in-app marketplace. With the new license, you can use the remaining number of days that were still available at the moment you lost the previous license. The $1.99 always remains linked to your account.
After a few days of using the app, I can see that I’ve earned $5. How do I know that nobody will steal this money from me?
When you connect with the license we send you, a “digital contract” is created. With the pre-agreed reward share and uptime percentage (shown in the calculator above), the rewards are fixed and nobody can interfere with them or with the contract. Of course, you still need to make sure nobody hacks your phone/account, but that risk is the same as with any other app you have on your phone.
What happens to the rewards I’ve already earned if I then lose my license?
The rewards are always yours. Even if you lose your license, you do not lose access to the app. You can transfer your rewards to your bank account or crypto wallet at any time, even if you don’t have an active license.
Who developed the Unity app?
The app is owned by Unity Network Ltd. (Co.Reg.No: 77515624). Unity Network is a partnership between World Mobile and Minutes Network. The complete development, app management, inter-operator agreements, and everything else are their work. runnode.io has purchased a portion of the licenses to perform the tasks required by the app.
Why is it necessary to pay $1.99/month?
For each license to work, a monthly inter-operator network registration fee ($1.99) must be paid in advance. The user can choose to pay this fee themselves (and receive higher rewards), or runnode.io can pay it for them (when choosing the free option – in that case the rewards are lower).
Are the rewards I see in the calculator above real?
The rewards are real and are based on more than one year of testing on real data. We do not guarantee the exact amount of rewards, as they depend on the tasks performed by your phone.
